evannichols EvNoWriMo Report: Today, May 12, I wrote 3,011 words, which is 100.3% of my daily goal. So far I've written 36,025 words, wanting to reach at least 36,000 words by today, and am at 100% of that, and 38.73% of the whole story.
I've finished 3 of 6 sections, which should put me at the halfway point. I had guessed that the sections would be 15K words, and so far they look like this:
Section 1, Chapters 1-4, 10,690 words.
Section 2, Chapters 5-9, 14,063 words.
Section 3, Chapters 10-14, 9,750 words
I can't tell if the second half will take more words, as we build intensity to the conclusion, or fewer, because they'll be more to the point. I think I'll be able to wrap up this draft by my birthday, which would be a great present to myself. 🎂🎁🎉
